Angela represents buyers and owners in the sale of shopping centers, free standing retail buildings, office buildings, industrial buildings, land and multi-family property. She has developed entry and exit strategies for many asset types. Her clients include local individuals such as Bob Ingles and large institutions, for example, New York Life Insurance. Upon entry into the Atlanta market, Angela worked with such clients as Mattress Firm, UPS Store, Simmons, and Hoover Vacuum Cleaners. Many requiring multiple store site selections, office, and warehouse space with simultaneous store openings.

Cat von Schroeder is a graduate of the University of Arizona with dual majors in Finance and Real Estate and has over 30 years’ commercial real estate development and management experience with a heavy emphasis on structured and securitized investments.

A native of Wisconsin, Cat is a third generation of real estate developers and investors and started her career with the family business developing unimproved land for residential use in southern Arizona. In 1984, Cat was engaged by a syndicator out of Los Angeles to relocate to Atlanta as a securities wholesaler raising funds for private placement real estate limited partnerships on the east coast through boutique financial planning firms.

In 1988, she joined a British equity investment and development firm, negotiating, developing and managing joint venture apartment developments of 2,500 units in the southeast and mid-Atlantic regions. In 1993, Cat opened her consultancy as project manager for the first performing loan REMIC and upon completion, started the international institutional investment program for her client prior to the company being sold. Her next long term assignment was with GE North American Real Estate and their first conduit loan program as an underwriter for the company’s new loan origination platform as well as their large structured finance group.

In 2006, Cat joined a large BPO firm whose clients were major financial institutions, first as a senior underwriting manager for conduit loans and then as the director of a new portfolio management division she created that provided asset management services primarily for those lenders whose A/B debt structures required execution of elaborate re-development plans of large mixed-use developments.

In 2010, Cat joined a large financial institution as a senior portfolio manager in the special assets division of the private bank to restructure large portfolios of commercial real estate debt and commercial instruments of real estate developers and later within the business bank focusing on restructuring portfolios of business owners with real estate assets.

Cat joined Massell Capital Investments, Inc. in September 2021 as a consultant for the company’s property syndication and development projects and is in process of getting her real estate license in the state of Georgia.
